i have to admit that i don’t like scary halloween. i don’t like scary movies, and i am afraid of the dark. you won’t catch me ANYWHERE near a haunted house, and i avoid the halloween isles filled with severed hands and creepy masks!
this year, i wanted to do something fun and over the top cute for halloween. from that desire, the BEWARE OF CUTE MONSTERS collection was born. this collection contains the cutest little pink, blue and green monsters and incorporates one of my favorite design elements – STRIPES! i am sure that you will delight the little ones in your life with this collection of cute, not scary, little monsters!
as i designed this collection, one of my favorite pieces quickly became the paint pail liners which make the CUTEST trick or treat containers. i have to thank my sweet friend nikki from great gatherings for this adorable idea. you can purchase your paint cans from a craft store like michaels or through an online source. we have designed the liners to be printed on 2 sheets of 8 1/2″ x 11″ regular paper or cardstock. you will find TWO adorable designs featuring each of our three monsters. these liners will fit both the gallon and quart size pails. your little one will certainly have the most unique trick or treat buckets on the block.

i am a complete ribbon freak, so it just seemed fitting to tie cute ribbon to the handle of our little pink monster pail! the front of this pail says BEWARE OF CUTE MONSTERS. the back says TRICK OR TREAT! oh, so cute!
my second favorite piece of this collection is the invitation. i love that my sweet lauren mckinsey friends are able to personalize this design filling in the three “fields” with their very own party information.
every party needs sweet treats so i was delighted when dream day cakes was able to fit me into their very busy schedule! can you believe just how adorable these cookies are? i am truly impressed beyond words each and every time i work with fred and yeni. they did an amazing job turning my little monsters into edible works of art. it’s no secret that it is hard for me to see their adorable work be eaten, but to hear the squeals of delight from the little ones who taste them makes it worth it. i do always hold back at least one for my ever growing cookie collection.
