Thanksgiving turkey favors from Lauren McKinsey

if you are looking for a fun and easy Thanksgiving craft activity this weekend i have just the thing for you.  in fact, this activity is a great way to involve your little turkeys in the Thanksgiving week and day plans as well.  i was really hoping to make several of these for Parker’s teachers, but i sent peanut butter balls to the school instead.  but not to worry – i will be making a few of these for my niece and nephew this week![paragraph split]SUPPLIES needed:[paragraph split]clear glass jars {i use Starbucks frappuccino jars and they look like this.} drink the contents, remove the stickers and you have it – CUTE milk jars![paragraph split]whoppers, chex mix, goldfish, peanuts, cocoa puffs or any other fun filler as a treat.[paragraph split]the little turkey craft PDF.[paragraph split]ribbon or twine to decorate the jar.[paragraph split]after printing our your PDF craft sheet, cut out the little turkey body and feathers.  you will place the turkey body {using double sided tape or the adhesive of your choice} to the front of the bottle and the feathers to the back.  you may also want to punch or cut out a 1 inch circle for the top of the bottle {if you are like me and didn’t keep the lids} or place the lid back on the bottle and add a colorful circle to decorate the top.[paragraph split]now fill your jar up with your snack of choice and add any ribbon or twine if you like and now you have the CUTEST Thanksgiving turkey favors.  they really do make me smile!
