Thanks for helping me grow printable collection from Lauren McKinsey :: mini hanging gift tags

with teacher appreciation week fast approaching {May 5-9th} i decided it was time to get some cute printables up in the shop for your amazing teachers.  i have always loved seeing the flower pots on pinterest and facebook with the phrase THANKS FOR HELPING ME GROW!  this year i decided to create my own version with my favorite apple and bookworm and design for you the CUTEST teacher appreciation set yet!

when my boys were younger i loved giving their teachers a gift every day of the week.  don’t worry – i will have LOTS of wonderful printables for you to choose from so that you can do the same!

this collection is so fun!  i love the ruler and bookworm and apple on our craft sheets that you can laminate and add to a flower pot!  this collection is filled with printables that you will fall in love with and so will your little one’s teacher.

call-to-action-button Thanks for helping me grow printable collection from Lauren McKinsey :: notecards

i adore these notecards!  just the perfect size for your little one to write a sweet note to their teacher or for you – the parents – to tell your child’s teacher just how much you appreciate and value all they do!

for this cute pot you will need the following!  a clay pot {they come in ALL sorts of sizes} black paint, yellow paint and a sharpie.  it would be fun to use chalkboard paint and personalize the pot for your teacher as well.  i tied one of our hanging gift tags to the pot with red gingham ribbon and just like that – the cutest flower pot EVER!  after painting my pot and BEFORE adding my ruler marks and numbers i sprayed the pot with a clear lacquer.  it gave it a nice shine and covering.

and of course – i love my little bookworm and just had to turn him into a clay worm.  i used green and white clay sculpie, made 6 different size balls and created a little worm.  i used white sculpie for his eyes and filled them in with a black sharpie.  i did put wire through my little worm to help hold him in place.  i still need to bake my little guy so he lasts a LONG time.  so cute and what an adorable little addition to the pot.

this little ruler is perfect for as a little “stake” in your plant.  i laminated mine giving it a little extra support!  i cut out my worm in the apple and laminated him as well. i taped him to an over-sized red and white straw for a little extra decoration.  CUTE!
